I heard a wise man talking few days back (aka Junaid Jamshed): Everything in life can be granted to you without you asking for it, irrespective of whether you deserve it or not, but the only thing that you can never have without searching and craving for it is Knowledge!
Its a blessing to have that thirst for knowledge..the thirst to know the truth..but its even a bigger blessing to have that thirst reinstated in you. I have been blessed (again). Only Allah knows what would have happened if I had rejected this journey to enlightenment once more..
I am not sure what I can achieve by writing about my experiences in this search for enlightenment, but I hope that someday I will be able to touch someone's life and will be able to prove that my journey to be closer to that truth is not futile.
If you are wondering what is that truth- its none other than Islam :)
Few months back if you had asked me about my last wish before I die- It would have a been a list of desires with meeting my "chat friends" topping that list. Now if Allah gives me a lifetime, a month, a day, a second to live- I wish it to spend in memory of the one who created me, thanking HIM for all the blessings, and repenting for all my sins- sounds not like me eh???
